Never trust first impressions. That's one important lesson this tape taught me. My first impression of this tape when I played it was "oh, boy more techno-industrial NIN wannabes". But more open listening did not confirm. "Orange Love" is one of my favorite tracks, with a bit of a Riot Grrrl tinge to it (even though the chorus of "gimme a fuckin' break, huh?" x4 gets a bit tedious after awhile). As well as the aforementioned Nails, influences seem to include Metallica (or at least that genre), New Order, Ministry, and even some indie grunge thrown in for flavor.
